Position Overview
Black Sheep Coffee is one of the UK's fastest growing coffee brands, with over 120 UK sites as well as shops in the United States and UAE. We're challenging the coffee industry's status quo with our bold vision and premium products. As we continue to expand across the UK, we're looking for a dedicated Acquisitions Manager to help drive our growth by securing prime new locations across the Midlands and South of England.
Responsibilities
- Site Sourcing & Acquisition: Identify and secure new locations for both corporate and franchised sites, ensuring alignment with growth plans and brand strategy. This will involve being out in our target locations looking for opportunities on the ground, as well as reviewing openly marketed sites.
- Relationship Building: Build strong, long-term relationships with franchisees, property agents, landlords and developers to access the best opportunities.
- Market Research & Site Evaluation: Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure sites are suitable for the brand's growth and visibility, supported by our existing in-house data platforms and modelling software.
- Property Board: Prepare sites for property board review, organising documentation, specifying deal terms, analysing local competition and conducting financial analysis for review. Lead decision-making discussions to secure new site sign-offs.
- Lease Negotiation & Management: Manage lease negotiations to ensure favourable terms for Black Sheep Coffee while maintaining strong relationships with landlords.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with franchising, property, and finance teams to ensure seamless site handovers for build-out and operational requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in commercial property acquisition, site sourcing, and lease negotiations in retail or hospitality. Experience in drive-thrus is beneficial.
- Strong network in the UK property market, with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.

- Free coffee - Barista made from any of our stores
- 30% discount on food & smoothies from any of our stores
