Full Job Description

  • Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential
  • Assess needs and update support plans
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries
  • Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity
  • Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment
    • (This role is sometimes also referred to as Support Worker, Support Assistant, or Independent Living Assistant).,

    • We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working.   • Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
  • Able to work well in a team and independently
  • Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
