Your Role

• Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential


• Assess needs and update support plans


• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries


• Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy, and dignity


• Work with external partners to boost confidence, health, and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment

(This role is sometimes also referred to as Support Worker, Support Assistant, or Independent Living Assistant).

Experience and Skills

• Supporting adults who have experienced homelessness


• Positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach


• Ability to work well in a team and independently


• Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy


• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it


• Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
