Project Support Officer (Grade H)

The Families First for Children Project Officer will play a pivotal role within the Learning Academy, with primary responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Families First for Children programmeâ€"an ambitious initiative designed to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families. This role will coordinate and implement projects that strengthen early intervention, family support, and safeguarding systems.
As a key member of the Supporting Families division, you will work closely with the Strategic Lead, Programme Managers, and wider teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of programme components. Responsibilities include managing timelines, tracking deliverables, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to the development of an integrated system that protects children from harm and promotes their well-being. Flexibility is essential, as some evening and weekend work may be required to meet operational needs. In addition to supporting the Families First programme, the post holder will provide high-quality, responsive administrative and advisory support to the Learning Academy. This includes managing diaries, arranging meetings and workshops, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth delivery of core Academy functions.
