We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Project Support Officer, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration., The Project Support Officer will support the implementation and delivery of a range of digital projects within 24/7 Services. The role is focused on ensuring that new IT systems, service improvements, and digital transformation initiatives deliver the strategic objectives of both the Directorate and the Council. Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and delivery of digital transformation and service improvement projects.
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and coordinate project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Assist in identifying key success criteria and support cultural, procedural, and system changes arising from project work.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and involvement in service planning and delivery.
- Evaluate service issues and challenges, developing and implementing solutions that promote best practice.
- Provide specialist support and knowledge relating to policy, process development, and service delivery.
Experience supporting projects, service improvement initiatives, or digital transformation programmes. - Experience analysing performance data and producing reports.
- Knowledge of project management principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and delivering change initiatives.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
