We are proud of our international reputation for pushing boundaries and ensuring patients receive the very best and latest in cancer treatment and care., An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Officer to join our Clinical Genomics team, supporting the delivery of high-impact projects that enhance patient care and operational services. You will work at the heart of a dynamic programme driving innovation across molecular diagnostics and genomics services.

In this role, you will support the successful delivery of projects by coordinating day-to-day activities, maintaining key project documentation, and facilitating communication across multidisciplinary teams. You will assist with project planning, tracking milestones, managing RAID logs, and preparing reports to support effective governance and decision-making. You will also support financial and resource coordination, including procurement processes and budget tracking., The post-holder will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic projects withing Clinical Genomics that enhance patient care and operational services. Working alongside the project team and workstream leads, the post-holder will help ensure projects progress smoothly by coordinating day-to-day activities, maintaining project documentation, and facilitating communication across diverse stakeholder groups.

The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the project team, overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and that projects produce the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost The post-holder will also ensure resource availability for the project team by liaising with the required teams and helping with raising resource request and quotes.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop project management experience within a supportive NHS environment, contributing to programmes that directly benefit patients, staff, and the wider community.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

o A strong team player with ability to work as part of a team and to autonomously work without direct supervision

o Expertise of working with Project Managers in the development of project management documents such as project briefs, project plans, RAID logs and coordinate the delivery of projects by the Project Managers
