Full Job Description
As a Project Quality Manager , you will have ownership of the quality requirements at every stage of the project life cycle. Working with teams globally you'll ensure our products are designed, developed, and delivered with quality at the core. Coordinate delivery of quality requirements and ensure effective and consistent application of Quality processes across the organisation in support of project execution. Act as subject matter expert for all project related quality issues. As a Project Quality Manager , you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing project requirements during ITO, support gap analysis, verify concept design, and assess contractual/quality risks including lessons learned and third-party inspection costing.
- Participating in project kick-off and bid handover, supporting contract familiarisation, quality inductions, supplier quality flow-down, and creation of the Project Risk & Opportunity Management Plan.
- Creating, submitting, and maintaining all key quality documents (PQP, NCR process, audit plans, NOIs, inspection processes) and ensure alignment with the Master Document Register and Mechanical Completion Matrix.
- Supporting engineering and CoE Quality Engineers with ICB/third-party design verification, surveillance requirements, ITPs, NOIs, MRB reviews, and equipment release compliance.
- Acting as the primary interface for all project quality matters with customers, consortium partners, and CoEs; attend meetings and drive customer issue resolution and technical query management.
- Leading or supporting root cause analysis, lessons learned, supplier quality issue resolution, customer/supplier audits, and risk-based updates to Criticality Risk Assessments and ITPs.
- Monitoring and reporting project quality performance, including weekly/monthly metrics, top issues, external inspection costs, and coordination with CoE Quality Engineers.
- Overseeing project quality handover and closeout, ensuring all deliverables are accepted, mechanical completion and dispatch dossiers are finalised, and operations teams receive full handover support.
Have a bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline. - Have proven experience in project quality management within engineering, EPC, manufacturing, or energy sectors.
- Have strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and core project quality processes.
- Be able to interpret technical specifications, contracts, and engineering documentation.
- Be skilled in creating and maintaining PQPs, audit plans, NCR processes, and other key quality documents.
- Have experience with ITPs, NOIs, MRBs, and third-party/ICB verification and surveillance activities.
- Have strong capability in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and leading customer/supplier audits.
- Have excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to drive issue resolution and support project handover/closeout. Work in a way that works for you
