Project Officer - Swindon

We're looking for a Project Officer to join us on a 24 month fixed term contract to support the delivery of a long term, UK wide programme designed to inspire people to take part in restoring nature. This role plays an important part in turning campaign plans into well coordinated action, supporting the smooth delivery of projects and workstreams within a complex and collaborative environment.

• experience of relevant health and safety procedures and experience of undertaking risk assessments.

• someone with an eye for detail, good organisational skills and able to work at pace and keep to time

What you'll be doing You'll support the planning, coordination and delivery of project activity within the campaign, managing smaller projects and leading defined elements of larger and more complex workstreams. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider campaign team, you'll help maintain project plans, track progress, manage risks and support effective reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You'll coordinate activity with internal colleagues and external partners where needed, help ensure work is delivered to time, cost and quality expectations, and contribute to clear communication across stakeholders.
