Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council have an exciting opportunity for the recruitment of a Project Manager (LGR Transition) Please note this is a Secondment / Fixed term role until 31 March 2028. We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated professional to work across both council's, supporting our response to Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). You will:
- Co-ordinate and contribute to the delivery of the LGR Programme.
- Act as project manager for LGR projects
- Act as a key point of contact for the council, facilitating co-ordination of LGR activities and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain awareness of national policy and best practice relating to LGR
A strategic thinker with a strong background in project management, research and engagement - Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and inspire
- Politically astute and confident working in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Skilled in project management, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration
- Degree-qualified or equivalent experience, with a commitment to continuous learning
