Full Job Description
Love turning complex data projects into clear, valuable outcomes? We're looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to take the lead on multiple data initiatives across AO. You'll bring structure, pace and focus to projects spanning data warehousing, modelling and architecture, working closely with our Head of Data, technical teams and stakeholders across the business. This isn't a role for simply keeping a project plan ticking over - you'll ask the right questions, challenge priorities when needed and keep everyone focused on delivering the things that make the biggest difference. Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing You'll own several data projects at once, keeping timelines, budgets and quality on track while juggling priorities across different teams. You'll work closely with data engineers, analysts and architects, bringing enough technical understanding to connect the dots without needing to be the person building the solution. You'll create clear governance around each project, manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, and keep stakeholders up to speed with straightforward reporting and steering sessions. There'll be competing demands along the way, so you'll be comfortable bringing people together, resolving conflicts and constructively challenging everyone from technical leads to senior stakeholders when there's a better way forward. The goal? Keep complex projects moving and make sure the work delivers genuine business value., One of our recruitment team will be in touch soon with an update as soon as they can. In the meantime, why not check out what life at AO is all about! Explore Now Can you outline your experience working on managing data projects?

- You know your way around cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP or Snowflake.
- You're comfortable managing several projects and competing priorities at the same time.

- You're confident navigating conflicting priorities, negotiating solutions and getting teams aligned around the outcome.
- You understand both Agile and Waterfall approaches and can work with the right method for the job.
- You communicate complex information clearly, whether you're getting into the detail with a technical team or giving senior stakeholders the bigger picture.
