Are you an experienced Project Manager within the construction industry, ready to deliver high-impact projects in a world-class environment?, This is a high-impact delivery role focused on managing a cross-divisional portfolio of construction projects, typically valued between £100k and £2m. You will lead every stage from briefing and procurement to handover and post-occupancy review - working across hospital campuses, science sites, historic buildings, and academic departments. You will manage external consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to programme, to budget, and in line with statutory and University requirements. You will be joining a forward-thinking team during an exciting time of growth, with development opportunities.
Join the University of Oxford's Capital Projects Team and lead the delivery of complex, multi-site construction projects that shape the future of one of the world's most prestigious institutions., You will be a confident Project Manager with a strong background in construction delivery and a solid understanding of UK building practices. Specifically, you will have:
- A degree in construction, or a related field, and professional membership
- Strong experience managing capital construction projects in live, operational environments
- Sound knowledge of UK building regulations, CDM 2015, the Building Safety Act 2022, and statutory compliance across all project stages
- Proven ability to manage consultants and contractors while balancing stakeholder needs across complex sites
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach and excellent communication skills
