Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the development and delivery of small Energy from Waste plants for the UK market.,

• Manage the delivery of small waste incineration plant (SWIP) projects.
• Chair and lead project meetings.
• Prepare meeting minutes and track actions through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and work package lists.
• Manage project budgets and provide regular financial updates.
• Prepare and coordinate engineering review meetings and decision documents.
• Prepare resource and capacity planning documentation.
• Prepare and update technical specifications.
• Present project progress and updates at monthly steering committee review meetings.
• Prepare proposal documentation for potential new customers.
• Prepare escalation documentation for project issues to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Develop strong working relationships with project team members and maintain team engagement and motivation.
• Coordinate effectively with team members working across different international locations.
• Support the wider business with relevant project information for marketing events and sales activities.
  
  The successful candidate will be degree educated with a technical background and have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience managing engineering-based projects.
While an engineering-specific degree is not required, candidates must have a good technical understanding and be comfortable interpreting engineering documentation such as General Arrangement drawings, 3D CAD models, P&IDs and technical specifications. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with responsibility for coordinating an international project team, resolving project issues, chairing meetings and presenting project updates to both internal stakeholders and external customers.,
• Degree-level education with a technical background is essential.
• Minimum 2-3 years' project management experience within an industrial environment.
• Proven experience delivering engineering-based projects.
• Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Easy Project or similar.
• A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or equivalent.
• Experience chairing project meetings and managing/coordinating multidisciplinary team members.
• Ability to understand engineering documentation including drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive projects forward and resolve issues.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable presenting project updates to senior management and external clients.
• Ability to work effectively with international and geographically dispersed project teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Ability to speak another language would be advantageous, but is not essential
