Project Manager

You'll join the Asset Management team within Haringey's Placemaking and Housing directorate, working closely with colleagues across Housing Property Services, Building Safety, Procurement, Legal, Finance and other enabling services. The team is responsible for delivering the council's annual housing investment programme, valued at up to £40 million, and is committed to improving the quality, safety and sustainability of homes across the borough. Collaboration is at the heart of how the team works - you'll be supported by experienced project managers, senior leaders and technical specialists, and will contribute to a culture focused on continuous improvement, resident-centred delivery and strong partnership working.

You bring proven experience managing complex construction or housing investment projects, ideally up to £10 million in value, with a strong understanding of building contracts, contractor management and major works programmes. You're confident working with residents, resolving complaints and communicating clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior managers and elected members. You combine strategic thinking with strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality project administration. You'll be comfortable managing budgets, navigating contractual issues and ensuring compliance with statutory and leaseholder requirements. A relevant qualification - such as an HND, degree or specialist construction/project management accreditation - is essential, along with a commitment to delivering value for money and excellent outcomes for residents.
