Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, delivering a range of complex projects across East Yorkshire and South Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially aware Project Manager who can take full responsibility for the safe, successful, and profitable delivery of projects from inception through to completion.,
- Lead and manage projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Take overall responsibility for health, safety, environmental, and quality performance on site.
- Develop, monitor, and update project programmes, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures where required.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, industry regulations, and client requirements.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, method statements, and project plans.
- Work closely with commercial teams to maximise project profitability and control costs.
- Attend client and progress meetings, maintaining strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, resource requirements, and productivity levels.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement throughout project delivery.
Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering, demolition, earthworks, infrastructure, groundworks, or related sectors. - Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- Excellent programme management and project planning skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project costs and budgets.
- Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary site teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with subcontractors and managing supply chain performance.
- Full UK driving licence.
