Full Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Managing OTDT projects to timely and successful conclusions.
- Ensuring that intended project outcomes are in alignment with the business strategies, that all project budgets are managed effectively, and all operational needs are met.
- Under the direction of the Programme and Portfolio Manager, the postholder will be responsible for the management of specific projects, ensuring that they are managed to the highest professional standards and comply with all relevant internal and external standards, regulation and instructions.
- Deputising for the Programme and Portfolio Manager as required and supporting assurance of projects and programmes across the organisation.
- Supporting OTDT portfolio build planning and reporting processes.
- The postholder may be expected to manage more than one project at any given time at different stages in their lifecycle.
- Participate in the development and improvement of the NHSBT Portfolio, Programme and Project Management tools and methods.
- Maintenance of all project artefacts, for example project/programme board update packs, project plans, runbooks, RAIDD logs.
You will have an innovative, problem-solving approach, with strong stakeholder management skills and experience in implementing risk management and governance processes.
