Full Job Description
- Manage and deliver small to medium-sized projects within a wider Data programme environment
- Take full accountability for successful project delivery in line with agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Monitor and report on project performance, including financials, risks, and progress against milestones
- Establish and maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage expectations and ensure alignment
- Identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities to support the achievement of project objectives
- Ensure all activities comply with internal governance, operational frameworks, and lifecycle management (LCM) processes
- Drive continuous improvement within the project by refining processes and adapting best practices where appropriate, You will be part of a dynamic project management team within the Data function, playing a key role in delivering small to medium-sized projects in a data-driven environment. Working alongside a variety of business functions, you'll be instrumental in managing projects that may involve new and emerging technologies, with potential sub-contracts and multiple interconnected workstreams. Reporting to the Head of Project, you will collaborate closely with other project managers and CAMs to ensure the successful delivery of a complex programme, making a significant impact on the overall objectives of the business. Ability to plan and manage project schedules from initiation through to delivery - Skilled in tracking budgets and controlling project costs to meet financial targets
- Experienced in identifying and managing risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle Desirable
- Project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Experience working in IT or data-focused project environments
