Full Job Description
Select Plant Hire is looking for a Project Land Surveyor to lead survey delivery across major infrastructure, rail and energy projects throughout the UK. This role combines technical surveying expertise with project ownership. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers and digital engineering teams, ensuring survey requirements are planned, coordinated and delivered throughout the project lifecycle. What you'll be doing
- Leading survey activities from mobilisation through to completion.
- Managing primary and secondary control networks.
- Delivering topographical, engineering and laser scanning surveys.
- Coordinating survey requirements with project managers, engineers and stakeholders.
- Producing and reviewing survey models, drawings and reports.
- Supporting earthworks calculations and digital engineering workflows.
- Driving quality, accuracy and best practice across survey operations., Company car or car allowance.
- Travel, accommodation and expenses covered where required.
- Mobility support for assignments requiring extended stays away from home.
- Flexible travel arrangements.
- Flexible approach to home working when project commitments allow.
- Long-term involvement in projects from start to finish.

Around 7+ years' experience in land or engineering surveying. - Strong experience on major infrastructure or construction projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Leica equipment and software, particularly Cyclone 3DR.
- Experience managing control networks and survey strategy.
- Ability to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and planning skills.
- Degree, NVQ, TSA qualification or equivalent.
