Full Job Description

This role will support the STEM and Social Science Connect Programmes at the University of Warwick, producing visual outputs of the new building designs to support both internal decision making and external publicity and marketing. You will work in a small team of engineers, utilising technologies within WMG, including head mounted displays, interaction/wearable technologies, and a range of software tools, to help deliver a range of outputs including photo-realistic renders and videos, and immersive virtual reality experiences. The role will involve interfacing with both industrial and academic partners, understanding requirements and developing solutions utilising the latest software and hardware, often in short time frames. The role will also include presenting outputs and demonstrating immersive technologies at University and external events.

You will be educated to degree / HND level or equivalent, in an Engineering or Computer Science related discipline, and have experience of creating immersive experiences in game engine software for architectural applications, both individually and in a team environment. You will possess good interpersonal skills together with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders, from architects and contractors to University senior management.
