Full Job Description
Our client is a focused manufacturing business, they operate in a fast paced, project environment and place strong emphasis on doing things right first time. We are looking for an organised and detail focused Project Co-ordinator / Order Processor to join the Sales team. This role is key to ensuring projects move smoothly from order placement through design and into production, with accurate information and clear communication at every stage. You will work closely with sales, design, production and logistics teams, acting as a central point of coordination to ensure customer orders are processed correctly and delivered on time. - Process customer orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy of information, materials and logistics
- Check orders and schedules to ensure compliance with company procedures
- Support error reduction processes (including NCRs) and ensure accurate sales orders for customer invoicing
- Liaise with production teams to provide order status updates to sales teams and customers
- Support estimators, business development managers and project managers when required
- Handle customer enquiries by phone, including delivery queries and order updates
- Interpret customer drawings, specifications and site plans to identify key requirements and costs
- Obtain and review subcontractor and supplier quotes when required
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors, A key coordination role at the centre of the business, supporting sales and production delivery
- Direct involvement in the full project lifecycle, from order placement through to manufacture
- Strong cross department exposure, working closely with design, engineering, quality and logistics
- Clear processes, structured training and ongoing support from an experienced sales team

You will be detailed, customer focused and comfortable working across multiple departments. - At least 12 months' experience in a manufacturing or similar environment (desirable)
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong numerical skills, including basic arithmetic and geometry
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, elevations and site plans (desirable)
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
