Full Job Description

Amentum are currently recruiting a Project Control Coordinator who will provides a full range of project control services to support Project Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring effective planning, cost control, progress tracking, and performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules and programmes in line with client, contractual, and business requirements
  • Monitor and report project performance against agreed baselines, including resources, cost schedule, risks, and key milestones
  • Support cost control activities, including budget tracking, forecasting, and cost performance reporting
  • Provide bid and tender support, including schedule development, estimating input, and risk consideration
  • Support risk and resource management activities, including identification, tracking, and reporting
  • Produce accurate and timely project controls reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Identify and communicate project risks, issues, and performance variances, providing advice on corrective actions
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, technical disciplines, and operational stakeholders to gather progress information and maintain integrated reporting
  • Provide guidance, advice and support to Planning Engineers and Cost Controllers as required
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including representing the business with clients where required

    Demonstrable experience working in Project Control, Project Support or PMO role
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline
  • Alternatively, significant relevant industry experience supported by appropriate professional training
  • Ability to support project planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, data analysis and performance reporting activities
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial Teams etc
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance
  • Adaptable and receptive to change within a dynamic project environment
  • Professional, trustworthy, and ethical, with the ability to handle sensitive project information
