We may just have your ideal role! We have embarked on a project to replace our social care case management system affecting almost 3,000 employees. It is a substantial project and will require significant engagement from services across the county. We're looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our motivated, forward-thinking project team. This post is fixed term until 30th April 2027., You will work closely with the testing manager and project management team to support the delivery of our new system (Liquidlogic), some of the tasks you might undertake as part of the role:

  • Support project managers by co-ordinating project meetings, steering groups and project boards and the accurate recording and monitoring of actions.
  • Liaise with suppliers on behalf of the project team to ensure the complex series configuration workshops required to develop the system are efficiently planned and appropriately resourced.
  • Support Workstream leads to secure the necessary facilities and appropriate participants to meet the requirement of their project activities.
  • Ensure queries from staff, suppliers and the project team are promptly and professionally responded to. Investigate and resolve issues independently and signpost users, project staff, partners and suppliers to available guidance as appropriate.
  • Support Project Managers and the Programme Lead in the development of processes documentation and recording of decisions, issues and risks.
  • Complete other tasks assigned from the project plan by the workstream lead accurately and within required timescales.

    You'll have:
  • Excellent communication skills because you'll interact with lots of people across the organisation and external partners and contractors.
  • Credible experience of quickly building effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and confidence to speak up and challenge if things aren't right
  • Good planning and organisation skills as you'll be working and supporting others to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to analyse complex facts or situations, interpret and translate these into practical clear advice.
  • An eye for detail with ability to identify issues and solutions quickly.
  • A flexible approach to work as sometimes things can change, and so you'll need to be able to prioritise work and sometimes change focus quickly.
  • Full knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to utilise the main applications.
