Introduction

As one of the leading engineering companies, we help our customers with turnkey solutions in the field of substations for power transmission, renewable energy, and transportation. As a single point of contact, we combine the accumulated knowhow of key suppliers and contractors so that customers benefit from efficient solutions, increased industrial productivity, and a lower environmental impact in a sustainable way.

This role sits within our Supply Chain Management team. The purpose of the role is to provide local purchase requirements, identifying local suppliers required on a day-to-day basis for the site offices and site purchases, as well as office purchases.

Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs)

• Manage local purchases and have knowledge of the local supplier market in the UK.


• Negotiate with suppliers and make agreements for long-term purchases.


• Coordinate with key site stakeholders to understand requirements and place orders within budget and cost constraints.


• Onboard local suppliers and visit sites if required.


• Check if the invoice amount matches the PO milestone payments.

• Focused on detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience Required

• Experience in supply chain, accounting, or finance departments.


• Good knowledge of Oracle as an ERP system.


• Fluent in English.
