Weekly Hours 37
£47,665 - £50,908 - pro rata for hours worked
Fixed Term Contract - 2 years

About the role

We are looking to recruit 1x Building Surveyors to be responsible for:

• The specification and management of works to ensure all homes offered for letting meet the council's lettable standard.
• Minimising voids times, rental loss and waiting times for new tenants by managing the specification and delivery of works to empty homes efficiently.
• To monitor the progress of works and ensure all works are carried out safely, to the required standard and timescale.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload within agreed targets.
• The ability to build effective working relationships.
• Knowledge of building construction and relevant health and safety requirements/legislation.
