Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to support the wider Pro-active Sales Team. This role plays a key part in the smooth running of the sales department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in event sales, offering hands-on exposure to corporate, group, and M&E (Meetings & Events) sales within a dynamic hotel environment.
What the Job Entails
This role is highly supportive and involves working closely with the sales managers and Regional Sales Director to keep the team running efficiently. The Project Administrator handles the day-to-day administrative foundation that allows the sales team to focus on revenue, strategy, and client relationships.
It's a great starting point for someone looking to build experience in:
hotel sales operations
project support
office administration
team coordination
With time, the role can grow into higher-level event coordination or sales support, depending on skills and interests.
Previous experience in hospitality administration or a sales support role is desirable, but not essential.
Strong organisational and diary-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Confident in minute-taking and maintaining accurate records.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional manner when dealing with clients.
Proactive and able to anticipate needs to keep the sales department running smoothly.
Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, client-focused environment.
Personal Attributes
Friendly, professional, and confident supporting senior management.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centred mindset.
Positive, solutions-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Discreet and trustworthy, particularly when handling client information and commercial data.
