Progressive Pharmacy Technician

Some examples of clinical speciality areas includes: cardiology, acute medicine, older persons medicine, neurology, general surgery, general medicine, trauma & orthopaedics, oncology, haematology, and paediatrics. The suitable candidate will need to have a breadth of pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting, with the proven ability to perform as a team player. Applicants must be a Pharmacy Technician, registered with GPhC. We will accept applications from pre-registration technicians qualifying in 2026. The successful candidate will work 37.5 or 22.5 hours per week between 8.30-5pm Monday-Friday with the working pattern to be agreed on successful appointment. They will also be included in dispensary and extended/out-of-hours rotas, which are currently:

• Weekend working once every 5 weeks (9am-5pm Saturday or Sunday, reimbursed with a full weekday off the following week)
• Late night working once every 2 weeks (hours 9am-5.30pm instead of 8.30am-5pm)
• Contribution to bank holiday working rota, South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff.
