Richard Huish Sixth Form College and has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset.
Richard Huish College is excited to announce the opportunity to become one of our Progress Tutors, who contribute to our highly successful student pastoral provision.
The successful candidate will form part of the bespoke tutorial programme, which emphasises the importance of a broad education, ambitious student progression and positive health and wellbeing.
The main focus of each Progress Tutors role is the delivery of the tutorial programme to a number of tutor groups. The management of these tutor groups will be the responsibility of the Progress Tutors and will include supporting and guiding individual tutees. It will also involve the supervision of some study time for each tutor group every week. Other key duties will include liaising with the Careers and Progression team, academic staff and other support staff in order to ensure that our students achieve their very best.

- Hours: 37hrs per week, term time only plus 1 week (40 weeks)
- Salary: £25,951 - £28,634 FTE Point 7-11 on the Support Staff Scale (actual salary £23,391-£25,809) depending on experience
- Contract: Permanent full time ( part time may be considered)
- Start date: 24th August 2026
- Closing date: 19th June 2026 9am
- Interview: Thursday 25th June am
