Full Job Description
The Programme Manager will mobilise and lead the new Early Language Support for Every Child (ELSEC) Programme in Hampshire ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
They will work in partnership with the Physical Health Leadership Team to embed sustainable, equitable services with embedded clinical governance, professional leadership, and integrated efficient working practices.
They will be expected to adapt to the changing requirements emerging over time and working in partnership with their manager and senior leadership to support changes to both the service delivery model and staffing structures.
The role will require leadership in a multi-agency, multi-provider environment in community settings and requires proven experience of leadership and service delivery management in partnership with key stakeholders across the system, including Children's Services., The ELSEC Programme Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery of the ELSEC programme in Hampshire and for maintaining service standards delivered by the ELSEC Team.
Ensure the mobilisation and ongoing effective and safe delivery of the ELSEC programme to deliver good quality, user experience and clinical outcomes.
Ensure a safe and effective patient service is provided and under the leadership of Head of Service, Quality Governance Lead and Clinical Lead, they will manage the operational, staffing, governance and financial performance associated with the designated service.
Support the wider Physical Health Leads in helping to translate the vision of integrated management into safe, effective, and efficient service delivery.
Using their leadership skills, they will be a visible and accessible presence, providing leadership and line management supervision to their direct reports.
Working with the wider Physical Health Leads they will participate in the development and implementation of the service line management, robust governance models and safe clinical management processes. The ELSEC Programme Manager will be a member of the Physical Health Leadership Teams.
Ensure excellent communication and joined up care pathways in locality settings between all internal and as possible with external providers.
