Full Job Description

As Programme Manager, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate delivery across multiple transformation workstreams
  • Drive programme planning, governance, performance monitoring, and reporting
  • Work in partnership across health, social care, education, and the voluntary sector
  • Support service redesign through evidence-based approaches and co-production
  • Present complex information to senior leaders and system partners
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities to maximise impact
  • Directly line manage the cyp transformation project officer.
  • You will operate in a highly collaborative, system-wide role, linking strategy and operational delivery across NHFT and wider Integrated Care System partners. If you are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and thrive in complex, partnership-focused environments, we would love to hear from you.

At NHFT, our mission is simple: making a difference for you, with you. We are proud to be rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are committed to delivering safe, high-quality, compassionate care to our communities. We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join us as a CYP Transformation Programme Manager, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of services for children, young people and families across Northamptonshire. The CYP Transformation Programme was established to strengthen partnership working across the system and improve outcomes for children, young people, and families. Following a programme reset in June 2025, exciting, ambitious priorities are now in delivery for 2026/27 and beyond -- and this role will be critical in driving that delivery forward., NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. NHFT promotes a culture of learning to improve the care and safety of our patients and staff, which focuses on people who enable our Trust to be 'outstanding' by supporting opportunity, innovation, development and growth.
