LET'S TELL YOU MORE We're looking for experienced Senior Programme Managers who can lead the successful delivery of complex capital programmes across our Water, Waste and Infrastructure portfolios. You'll be responsible for providing strategic leadership across multiple projects, developing high-performing teams and ensuring programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with business objectives. We're looking for an Senior Programme Manager to join our Capital Delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative leader who can balance programme performance, stakeholder engagement and people development while driving continuous improvement across Capital Delivery HOW WE WORK Working arrangements vary across our Capital Delivery teams and are agreed on a manager-by-manager basis. As a result, office and home-working expectations may differ depending on the team and role you join.

  • Proven experience leading large-scale engineering, construction, operational or capital programmes.
  • Extensive experience managing portfolios of projects, programme budgets, resources and strategic risks.
  • Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers and Project Coordinators.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external organisations.
  • Experience working collaboratively with contractors, suppliers and delivery partners to achieve programme outcomes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of programme governance, financial management and project controls.
  • Experience planning and managing long-term programmes of work and delivery strategies.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, identify efficiencies and lead change across complex delivery environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Desirable: · Experience within the water, wastewater, utilities, engineering or infrastructure sectors. · Experience delivering large-scale capital investment programmes and portfolios. · Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts and project management frameworks. · Strong understanding of CDM regulations, health and safety requirements and regulatory compliance. · APM qualification or equivalent. · NEC accreditation. · Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Environmental or Project Management related discipline. · Professional membership (or working towards) with an appropriate body such as ICE, CIWEM or IMechE.
