Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and creative Programme & Events Manager to join our team at Valentines Mansion and Gardens.
As Programme & Events Manager, you will:
Develop and deliver a varied programme of events and activities throughout the year.
Create engaging experiences that bring the history and story of Valentines Mansion to life.
Support the development of the Mansion as an arts, cultural and heritage destination.
Identify opportunities to increase visitor numbers, generate income and secure external funding.
Lead on funding and grant applications to support programmes and activities.
Manage event and activity budgets, ensuring effective monitoring and value for money.
Work with Marketing colleagues to promote the Mansion, events and activities, including through social media.
Manage the safe delivery of events, including risk assessments, licensing and health and safety requirements.
Coordinate and support staff, freelancers and volunteers involved in events and activities.
Work with colleagues, partners and community organisations to strengthen the Mansion's cultural offer.
