Full Job Description

You will provide administrative and coordination support for the preparation and delivery of executive programmes, both in person and online, helping to ensure a smooth participant experience from onboarding through to evaluation and follow-up. Working closely with the Programme Manager, programme directors, teaching faculty and colleagues across the School, you will coordinate programme schedules, meetings, materials, communications and logistical arrangements, including accommodation, catering and travel, while identifying and referring issues or potential delays as appropriate. You will support participant onboarding and, where required, admissions activity; maintain accurate participant, programme and expenditure records; and provide responsive, professional support to participants, institutional partners and internal stakeholders. You will also support programme delivery at School and external venues, including online sessions, and contribute to evaluation and practical improvements to established processes, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with relevant University and School procedures, information security and GDPR requirements. This role is permanent.

You will be educated to A-level or equivalent standard, or have equivalent relevant administrative experience, with excellent organisational and administrative skills and the ability to manage competing activities and deadlines accurately. You will be self-motivated and adaptable, able to work independently within established procedures and programme plans, remain calm under pressure, use initiative appropriately and recognise when to seek advice or refer matters to the Programme Manager. You will also have good numeracy skills and confidence working with financial data, alongside a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have excellent written and spoken English and a strong commitment to customer service, with a professional, diplomatic and approachable manner. You will be able to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior stakeholders, international visitors and academic faculty, and work effectively as part of a supportive team. Sound judgement, tact and discretion are essential, particularly when handling confidential or sensitive information.
