Program Manager - Claims Cloud Transformation QBE Insurance Group London or Leeds | Permanent | Full Time | Hybrid
The Opportunity
QBE Europe is looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead a major, multi-year Claims Cloud Transformation Programme. This highly visible role will oversee the migration of UK and European Claims operations onto a new cloud platform, helping modernise QBE's claims ecosystem, simplify technology, improve operational efficiency and enhance customer outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Change Delivery, Claims & Operations, you'll lead the end-to-end programme roadmap across a 5+ year delivery horizon, working with business leaders, technology teams, delivery partners and suppliers across the UK and Europe.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and lead the Claims Cloud Transformation roadmap and delivery strategy.
- Manage multiple workstreams covering technology, data, migration, testing, change and operational readiness.
- Establish programme governance, reporting, controls and decision-making processes.
- Manage programme risks, dependencies, milestones, budgets and performance.
- Lead and coordinate strategic suppliers and delivery partners.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business, technology and operations.
- Produce executive-level programme updates, presentations, decision papers and recommendations.
- Drive the successful migration of UK and European Claims operations to the new platform.
- Track programme benefits and ensure delivery remains aligned with strategic business outcomes.
- Support business readiness, adoption and transition into ongoing operational support.
About You
You'll bring extensive experience leading large-scale, complex transformation and migration programmes, ideally within insurance or another highly regulated environment. We're particularly interested in candidates with:
- Experience managing large-scale systems implementations or enterprise platform migrations.
- Proven success managing significant budgets, multiple suppliers and complex delivery environments.
- Excellent programme planning, governance and execution skills.
- Strong stakeholder management across executive, operational and technical audiences.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong risk, dependency and financial management capabilities.
- The ability to influence and lead across matrix organisations.
- Experience with Guidewire, claims platforms, cloud transformation, data migration or insurance Claims would be highly desirable.
Benefits
QBE offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
- 30 days' holiday, with the option to buy additional days.
- Flexible working opportunities.
- Comprehensive private medical insurance for you and your family.
- 26 weeks' parental leave at full pay.
- Up to 20 days per year working remotely from eligible overseas locations.
- A wide range of additional flexible benefits.
