Professor in Accounting & Finance

Lecturer in the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required.,

• All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met
• Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate
• Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
• Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties
• Keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices
• Working towards clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and student progression
  
  Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area
• Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
• Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
• Accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organized student records
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people, Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent)
• Experience in design / development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent
