Full Job Description

Here in Banbury, we have been gradually re-opening our doors since Covid struck, and are now ramping up our workload and therefore require additional resource to support this. We are looking to recruit a Production Team Leader to join the team - could that be you? The role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with the hours of work being Monday to Friday on a rotating basis, so week 1: 6.00 a.m. to 2.45 p.m. week 2: 7.15 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and then back to week 1. Your new role

  • Supervising and leading a number of Production Operatives including managing performance issues when required and ensuring KPI's are delivered, with a focus on quality and customer service;
  • Ensuring all PO's are fully trained and that standards are maintained and followed;
  • Ensuring all equipment is working effectively, and if not, to escalate to the Engineering Team;
  • Taking responsibility for resolving all production issues in your area, working closely with the other Team Leaders and Production Managers to ensure shift targets are met.

    This role requires good organisational and communication skills, a true understanding of the customer's requirements, flexibility and an ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. In addition, you will need to have had previous supervisory experience and be able to keep the team motivated.

    £14.72 per hour, weekly paid, plus Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Employee Assistance Programme, Recommend a Friend Bonus Scheme, Performance Awards, Long Service Awards and opportunities for training & development.
