Production Team Leader

Seeking a results-driven professional to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves ensuring efficient production, maintaining compliance with food manufacturing safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through people management and performance optimisation. Working a 3 shift rotation of 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 and 22:00-06:00.,

• Deliver the production plan through direct reporting teams on shifts.
• Ensure adherence to food manufacturing safety and quality standards.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques within production operations.
• Manage team performance to align with site business plans.
• Optimise labour use to meet production programme requirements and customer expectations.
• Oversee equipment efficiency, GMP, waste control, labour costs, and materials management.
• Create an environment where individuals can challenge the status quo, embrace change, and improve performance.
• Develop and utilise KPIs, ensuring they are effectively communicated at all levels.
• Collaborate with different business units to meet customer delivery requirements.
  
  Essential:
• Experience in a relevant discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong coaching and situational leadership skills.
• Excellent values and behaviours aligned with the company's vision.
• Desirable:
• Qualification in Continuous Improvement.
• Health & Safety qualification (IOSH).
• HACCP Level 2.
• Previous experience with SAP or Infor M3 ERP systems.
• Professional Skills:
• Proven experience in a production engineering environment, preferably within FMCG.
• Experience managing automated process lines.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams and lead change initiatives.
• Data-driven mindset, using data to improve quality and OEE.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
