Production Safety Managing Consultant

First Option (an ERM Group Company) is the industry leader in production safety, wellbeing, and sustainability - supporting hundreds of projects every year across the UK and around the world.We're looking for a Health and Safety Consultant to join our growing team, ideally based in London or within a one-hour commute.What you'll be doingProvide timely, professional health and safety advice to clients and production teams.Offer on-site support for a wide range of activities, from studio shoots to high-risk location work.Conduct proactive monitoring and audits of contractors, recommending practical risk-reduction measures.Develop and deliver training programmes to meet client needs.Promote awareness and understanding of safety resources

and best practice.Investigate accidents and produce clear, compliant reports.Monitor and audit the effectiveness of risk management systems.Keep clients informed of key issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.QualificationsNEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).Technical IOSH membership and working towards Certified status (or IIRSM equivalent).Confident using Microsoft Office or similar tools.Experience & SkillsExperience in a health and safety role (advisor or consultant).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong working knowledge of health and safety legislation and guidance.Ability to balance operational priorities with safety requirements.Highly organised, with strong prioritisation skills.Able to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions.Within reasonable commuting distance of London and surrounding studio hubs.DesirableExperience in TV, film, media, or events.Training delivery experience
