Production Operative's

The General Operative will be responsible for:

• Correctly and effectively carry out the required functions, once trained to do so, in the cutting hall
• General operative duties on the line as required
• Ensure that all areas of training in basic food hygiene, health and safety and product quality are adhered to
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours
• Produce each product to specification
• Maintain Health and Safety standards in accordance with Company Policy and all relevant legislative documentation - actively encouraging health and safety awareness with other operatives and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Ensure work practices minimise the risk of product contamination.
  
  Good spoken English is essential
• To meet targets set by management and the customer, i.e. productivity, quality hygiene and waste.
• To work as part of a team and effectively communicate with all colleagues and Management staff
• Meet all customer requirements & meet standards expected
• Thorough and Methodical
• Self-motivated
• Able to maintain high personal standards
• Comfortable working in a pressurised environment and able to meet tight deadlines
