Production Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the production team and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the department operates efficiently and consistently delivers high-quality service that meets and exceeds customer expectations.

This role is ideal for a results-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident analysing performance data, and can make sound, evidence-based decisions to drive operational excellence.

The role

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the production department, leading people, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the preparation, processing, finishing, repair, and dispatch of garments, mats, cabinet towels, and associated products in line with BS EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 local working instructions and the Company Operations Manual

Recruiting, developing, and resourcing the production team in consultation with the General Manager, planning workloads in line with forecasted throughput

Delivering ongoing training and development to all production staff, from induction through to continuous skills development

Promoting staff welfare and leading by example to maintain a positive and engaged working environment

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities

Collaborating with the on-site engineering team to improve maintenance effectiveness and minimise downtime

Managing departmental performance to achieve productivity, quality, and service targets

Controlling costs to ensure performance remains within agreed budgets
