Are seeking a Production Engineer

We have a vacancy for a Production Engineer to join our busy manufacturing plant.

We are a well-established company in Semington supplying to a wide range of industries with a reputation for

high quality technical rubber to metal moulded products.

The candidate should have a good mechanical and industrial background, ideally with proven experience in the rubber to metal moulding industry with an understanding of health & safety and manual handling principles. The position is to initially support the current production manager with a view to training to take over the

production management within the next 3-5 years.

Duties to include:

• Transfer & compression moulding

• Metal component preparation

• Compound preparation and blending

• Product testing, finishing

• Inspection & packing

• Mould & tool changes

• General duties relating to factory operation

We are offering competitive rates of pay, 40 working hrs per week with 24 days plus 8 days statutory holidays per annum, company pension scheme, basic salary of £28k with an annual profit related bonus scheme.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6.30am-3.30pm and Friday 6.30am-12.30pm (40hours/week)
