Full Job Description
Confectionery packing facility are currently recruiting a Product & Quality Control Assistant to join our busy team in a fast paced environment. You must be extremely confident working with numbers, IT literate, able to multi task, and highly focused on accuracy.
Key responsibilities:
* Managing seasonal product ordering
* Working with numbers and processing accurate records on Excel
* Directly assisting Quality Control dept / completing customer product spreadsheets
* Checking data thoroughly to identify and correct errors
* Communicating with suppliers via email and phone
* Strictly following established procedures, protocols, and company processes
* Keeping very organised and staying on top of filing
* Assisting website operations during peak seasons
About you:
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Have strong numerical skills and confidence working with figures
* Possess excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to checking work
* Follow clear instructions and procedures accurately - communicate clearly with the team
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills, and confidence when dealing with external contacts
* Be dependable and organised
Additional information:
Working hours : 12 hours per week (across Tues - Thurs) on site
