Are you passionate about creating digital services that help people live healthier lives?At Public Health Wales, our web estate connects people across Wales with trusted health information, public health programmes, professional resources, research and data.As a Product Officer (Web), you'll help improve websites and digital services that support the public, healthcare professionals, researchers and other key audiences. You'll work within the Digital Communications team to identify opportunities for improvement using analytics, user research and stakeholder insight, helping turn evidence into delivered outcomes.You'll support product roadmaps, manage delivery activities and work with colleagues across Public Health Wales to develop accessible, user-centred digital services that meet user needs and organisational priorities.We're looking for someone who is curious, organised and passionate about digital improvement. wide range of stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.In return, you'll have the opportunity to influence digital services used by millions of people and help ensure access to trusted public health information across Wales., As Product Officer (Web), you will play a key role in improving and maintaining Public Health Wales' web estate, helping ensure digital services meet user needs and support organisational priorities.Working within the Digital Communications team, you will use analytics, user feedback and stakeholder insight to identify opportunities for improvement across websites, content and user journeys. You will help translate user and business needs into clear actions, manage product backlogs, coordinate delivery activities and support digital improvements.You will work closely with colleagues across Public Health Wales, providing advice and guidance on web standards, accessibility requirements and digital best practice. The role requires strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, explain complex digital concepts in plain English and build consensus around proposed changes.The post holder will support the planning and delivery of website
enhancements, monitor performance using web analytics, and help ensure digital products and services are developed in line with accessibility standards, organisational policies and user-centred design principles.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement and collaborative working to deliver high-quality digital experiences that support public health outcomes across Wales.
