Full Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll lead backend product delivery within the Biometrics Integration Product Family. You'll work closely with APIs and microservices, ensuring services are secure, scalable and built to perform at scale. You'll own the product vision, set priorities and guide multidisciplinary teams through complex delivery. This is a demanding role where you'll balance immediate operational needs with long-term strategy, bringing clarity to competing priorities and leading delivery with confidence. What you'll be doing
- Define and evolve the product vision, aligning teams and stakeholders
- Lead delivery across the full product lifecycle (discovery, alpha, beta, live)
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing short and long-term value
- Use data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Represent user needs and champion user-centred design
- Ensure products meet GDS standards, accessibility and quality requirements
- Provide final sign-off on product releases
- Collaborate across engineering, architecture, security, policy and operations
- Lead, coach and support product managers and contribute to recruitment
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and align teams around shared outcomes
Experience delivering complex, technology-based products or services - Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends and solve problems
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication, including large audiences
- Experience managing product delivery in complex environments
- Commercial awareness, including budgeting and financial understanding
- Ability to lead teams and adapt across different product lifecycle stages
