Product Manager

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Group Technology team in Milton Keynes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a cutting-edge, Anti Money Laundering digital experience for our customers, estate agent staff and financial crime teams. You will lead product discovery and collaborate with engineering, business and 3rd party teams to bring this product to life from the ground up. This is a hands-on but senior role with visibility all the way to the top levels of the company. We offer a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week in our office in Milton Keynes.,

• Lead the definition of the product vision and define quarterly OKRs, partnering with senior leaders from our Estate Agency, Compliance and Technology areas
• Analyse data and engage with users to gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure product alignment with user needs and business objectives
• Gather and document epics, features and user stories
• Prioritize the backlog based on user feedback, business value, and development effort
• Manage senior stakeholder expectations and negotiate priorities
• Develop and maintain an outcome-based product roadmap
• Lead and inspire 2 cross-functional team of engineering, quality, design, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle
• Act as product lead across both teams, while coaching a Product Owner
• Collaborate with 3rd party, and other tech and business teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product performance.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Test, learn and iterate fast to prove the viability of the service as quickly and as cheaply as possible
• Facilitate product demos and user acceptance testing activities
• Support agile ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives
• Monitor and stay abreast of new technologies such as AI to inform product vision and lead the discussions with senior stakeholders
  
  Preferably educated to graduate level with a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience working as a product manager or similar role
• Experience building products from 0 to 1, working to tight timelines and under pressure, using agile methodologies
• Experience working with UX designers
• Experience in Financial services, Compliance, KYC and AML
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management practices
• Knowledge of agile planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated facilitation and influencing skills to drive decision making among stakeholders with diverse perspectives and priorities
• Ability to lead a team and encourage the team to meet and exceed goals and targets
• Able to take pragmatic decisions to move forward with an eye for short/medium/long term outcomes
