Full Job Description
Lead Product Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data and analytics products, from ideation to delivery.
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Commercial, Consumer, Finance, Technology, Marketing, Analytics) and delivery teams.
- Requirements Gathering: Facilitate workshops, gather and refine business requirements, and translate them into actionable product features.
- Agile Delivery: Manage product backlogs, prioritise requirements based on business value, and oversee Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery governance).
- Collaboration: Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Analysts, Architects, and offshore partners to ensure successful delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Support data validation, testing, and user acceptance processes to ensure data products meet business and technical standards.
- Promote Best Practices: Advocate for scalable, governed, and reusable data solutions.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure products meet data governance, quality, and security standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting, analytics capabilities, and business insights.
5+ years in Product Owner/Manager/Lead or Data/Analytics Product Management roles.
- Proven track record delivering data, reporting, analytics, or BI products.
- Strong Agile delivery experience and backlog/roadmap management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data/analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Platform, Teradata, SQL), BI tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Qlik, Tableau), and collaboration tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence).
- Data skills in SQL, data warehousing, data modelling, validation, and reporting governance.
Preferred:
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Agile/Scrum/SAFe certifications (e.g., Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager).
- Experience with Python and Data Product Management frameworks is a plus.
