Required Skills:

Product Designer Responsibilities:
1. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2 billion plus users.
2. Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces.
3. Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems.
4. Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Facebook products.
5. Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for quality.
6. Drive a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists in order to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.
7. Willingness to represent work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.

8. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
9. 4+ years designing software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives
10. Utilizes research and data to inform product strategy
11. Demonstrates strategic product thinking and effective communication skills
12. Familiarity with prototyping tools and building low-fidelity mock ups, 13. Experience connecting your work with other related initiatives across the company while driving collaboration
14. Examples of leadership in non-product dimensions that have made a team stronger and positively impacted the work environment such as taking on mentorship opportunities
15. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
16. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
17. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
