Full Job Description

Based in Stroud, this contract position as a Procurement Specialist SAP centres on managing purchase orders within a manufacturing setting. The successful applicant will process POs generated from MRP and Memo demand for designated suppliers, confirming each order is raised accurately, scheduled appropriately, and tracked through to completion. Prior experience with SAP ERP procurement and sourcing systems is essential, ideally gained within engineering or production environments involving precision machined components. The role demands strong attention to detail, effective supplier communication, and the ability to follow up on orders proactively. Working pattern is full-time, with a salary of 15 to 16 per annum. This is an initial contract engagement, suited to someone with proven SAP purchasing expertise., The ideal candidate will have Procurement and sourcing systems experience using SAP ERP ideally from an Engineering and Production background in precision machined components.
You will be responsible for Purchase Order (PO) processing from MRP and Memo demand for assigned suppliers. Ensuring that POs are created correctly as needed, properly schedule and followed up on.
