Full Job Description

The Global Procurement Operations Lead is responsible for driving the delivery, optimisation and adoption of procurement technology across CBRE Local's global business. This role combines project management, systems ownership, data and analytics, and senior stakeholder engagement, enabling procurement teams and the wider business to use insight, technology and supplier risk data to improve commercial and operational outcomes for CBRE and its clients. Projects Deployments This opportunity requires someone to understand the pipeline of global procurement and technology initiatives, including scope, timelines and operational impact. The responsibilities will include; leading the delivery and continuous improvement of CBRE Local's Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) programme while ensuring coverage across geographies and suppliers. Additional responsibilities below:

  • Ensure supplier risk management is embedded into purchasing decisions through integration with procurement and P2P platforms
  • Lead project management activities for key initiatives, ensuring delivery in line with agreed plans and outcomes
  • Identify, engage and align appropriate stakeholders across regions, functions and suppliers to ensure successful delivery
  • Build and maintain meaningful KPIs to measure the effectiveness of procurement systems, data quality and platform performance
  • Understand procurement data sources across operating platforms, including data volume, structure, frequency of update and data quality
  • Ensure data requirements are embedded into new projects and technology deployments, informing data warehouse planning
  • Develop solutions to manage, aggregate and normalise large volumes of procurement data, improving speed, accuracy and insight
  • Ensure procurement system data is routinely reviewed and maintained to mitigate financial and operational risk
  • Engagement & Training The successful candidate will lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the Local Procurement Information Hub, including exploration of modern solutions such as AI enabled knowledge platforms. Amongst the day to day operations, this role will develop procurement teams' understanding of current and emerging procurement technologies. In addition to the above, this role will work alongside key stakeholders from Global Procurement colleagues, Digital & Technology teams and business stakeholders, and therefore it is key for the successful candidate to have the ability to build strong relationships.

  • Strong experience delivering complex, multi stakeholder technology or transformation projects
  • Deep understanding of procurement technology architecture, systems and data analytics
  • Experience of data governance and management programmes
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and use data to drive improved commercial and operational outcomes
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and SQL
  • Experience operating within a large, complex, matrix organisation
  • Calm and resilient under pressure, able to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
