As our next Purchasing Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving the development of your commodity, attracting new suppliers, and building the processes and action plan for the near future. To excel in this role, you'll need to be positive and proactive, as well as inspirational and strategic in your thinking. Working with a team of skilled Buyers and Senior Buyers, you'll be responsible for managing the team, developing supplier strategies, and overseeing contract management. In this role, you'll focus on building strong relationships, working closely with stakeholders, and continually developing and supporting your team. You're not the type to solely focus on strategy; you'll also be involved in people management and day-to-day Procurement subjects. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to deliver, create, and execute commodity strategies, keeping the company up to date on marketplace developments and regulatory changes. It's important to you that you engage cross-functionally with key stakeholders, aligning business decisions with short and long-term objectives. As a Purchasing Manager, you are known for being positive and proactive, as well as inspirational and strategic.
You are a hands-on Purchasing Manager with experience in overseeing the entire Procurement process from start to finish. You are used with a fast-paced environment, with a strong analytical approach, able to see the bigger picture, prioritise accordingly, and be able to push back and challenge when necessary. You are comfortable dealing with a large variety of subjects, like supplier's strategy, cost reduction strategies or/and people development. On top of that you can do all with great optimism and humour.,
- Procurement managerial experience in automotive industry
- People management experience.
- Understanding of the strategic role of the Procurement function and ability to work at this level.
- Strong time management and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
