Process Technician Senior Coordinator (12 Month FTC)

About the Role: Process Technician CoordinatorAs a Process Technician Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all manufacturing and packaging processes for our Botanical Drug Product (BDP). Your responsibilities will ensure compliance with Health and Safety (H&S) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), while also managing team performance when applicable.
Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance: Maintain a primary focus on quality to ensure all cGMP standards are met.
Production Management: Ensure timely delivery of all BDP production batches.
Documentation: Process all BDP batch documentation in accordance with cGMP and current procedures.
Health & Safety: Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, ensuring safety for yourself and others.
Micro Testing: Perform routine micro testing in the Commercial Manufacturing Suite (CMS).
Collaboration: Liaise with various departments on BDP production scheduling.
Training: Train other technicians on new processes and manufacturing techniques.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements across all BDP production processes.
Additional Tasks: Complete any extra tasks assigned by production management.

What You Bring Experience: Background in a regulated production environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in the Pharmaceutical industry (e.g., NVQs).
Leadership: Proven experience in team supervision or leadership.
Skills: Strong numeracy, communication (both written and verbal), and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues as needed.
Positive Attitude: A 'can do' mindset that embraces challenges and seeks improvement.

Working ConditionsThis role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate production processes. You may also have the opportunity to act as the BDP department EH&S representative and manage consumable orders.
