Private Finance Initiative Administration Apprentice

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new opportunity within the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Contract Management Team who oversee the two main contract areas which cover 5 schools and streetlighting across the Borough.

The role will include ensuring the PFI contractors are meeting their contractual obligations in the maintenance and improvement of the properties that they manage and maintain on behalf the Council. Provide Admin and data support to the management of the contracts. This includes soft copy minute taking, reviewing helpdesk performance reports, procurement and document housekeeping.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge. This is an exciting opportunity to learn new skills and abilities and gain a good awareness of contract management., Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit.

You will need to have a minimum of:
Grade 4 (equivalent to Grade C or above) at GCSE English and Maths or functional skills level 2 qualification in English and Maths. You will need to be committed/willing to work towards the level 3 qualification.
